Playing a CD or DVD
77
The CD Player control panel works much like an ordinary
compact disc player:
To stop the compact disc, click the Stop button.
To play the CD or to pause, click the Play/pause button
on the CD Player control panel.
Playing a DVD
A DVD automatically starts playing when you insert it and
close the disc tray.
When you play a DVD, a Mediamatics
®
DVD Player dialog
box may advise you that video and audio playback
performance is dependent upon processor speed (MHz)
and system configuration.
Video and audio playback performance warning
The CD/DVD control buttons on the top of the computer do
not work with DVDs if the computer is off. To view a DVD
video, you must open the display panel and turn the
computer on.
