Do not park on slopes unless the wheels
are chocked or blocked

Push forward and down on the parking brake lever
to release the parking brake (Figure 14).

Starting the Engine
1. Raise the roll bar up and lock it into place, sit
on the seat, and fasten the seat belt.
2. Ensure that the motion controls are in the
neutral locked position.
3. Set the parking brake; refer to Setting the
Parking Brake.
4. Move the PTO (power take off) switch to the
off position (Figure 16).

5. Move the throttle lever midway between the
Fast and Slow positions (Figure 16).
6. Turn the ignition key clockwise to the Run
position (Figure 17).
The glow plug light will turn on for 6 seconds.
