DAILY SERVICE ACTIONS

Check engine fluid levels
•
Check transmission (IPS units) fluid levels
•
Check generator fluid levels
• Check engines for obvious fuel, oil, water or exhaust leaks
• Check transmissions (IPS units) for obvious fuel, oil, water or exhaust leaks
• Check generator for obvious fuel, oil, water or exhaust leaks
• Check steering system for proper operation
• Check all AC and DC electrical equipment for proper operation
• Check bilge pump operation before leaving the boat
•
Check float switches operation before leaving the boat
• Check and clean sea strainers as necessary
•
Wash all exterior fiberglass and bright work after each use in salt water areas
MONTHLY SERVICE ACTIONS
• Check electrolyte levels in all battery cells
• Spray below deck metal hardware (excluding PSS shaft seals) with rust preventative oil
•
Check condition of transom, trim tab and shaft sacrificial anodes, and replace as needed
• Operate/cycle or open/close thru hull shutoffs for ball valves and seacocks
SEMI ANNUAL SERVICE ACTIONS
• Clean batteries and terminals
•
Clean and/or replace fuel filters
• Clean shower sump strainers
• Lubricate air horn compressor
ANNUAL SERVICE ACTIONS
• Engine alignment
•
Replace sacrificial anodes
• Clean the fresh water system strainers
•
Change fresh water system filters
•
Clean air conditioning return air filters
•
Change holding tank vent filter
• Clean and lubricate locks, latches and door tracks
• Clean and polish exterior bright work
• Clean and paint hull bottom
• Wax hull sides and cabin topsides NOTE: color hulls require more frequent care
NOTE: These are suggested minimum maintenance intervals. More frequent main-
tenance may be required depending on location and frequency of use. For boats in
areas with seasonal use, semi-annually means twice a season and annually means
once a season.
