harbor:

an anchorage which provides reasonably good protection for a boat, with

shelter from wind and sea

hatch:

a door or cover for access down into a compartment of a boat

head:

refers to both the toilet and toilet area

headroom:

the vertical distance between the deck and the cabin or canopy top

(or other overhead structure)

heat exchanger:

used to transfer the heat that is picked up by the closed cooling

system to the raw cooling water

helm:

the operating area of a boat

hull:

the frame or body of the boat

inboard:

a boat with the engine mounted within the hull

keel:

a plate or timber plate running lengthwise along the center of the bottom

knot:
