sèche-linge. Ne pas repasser.

MOBILIZING AND COMPRESSION SHORTS
Description
The MOBIDERM Intimate range offers a variety of mobilizing and compression
garments for subcutaneous or indurated edema.
These garments are underwears designed to treat pelvic and/or genital edema.
Each garment comprises:
• compression shorts (polyamide, elastane, polyester)
Ⓑ
,
•
a removable MOBIDERM genital mobilization pad in small blocks (polyester,
polyamide, acrylic adhesive, polyethylene foam)
Ⓐ
.
MOBIDERM Intimate can be worn with or without the genital mobilization pad,
depending on the patient’s needs and the recommendations of the healthcare
professional.
The garment comes in a different style for men and women, each available in
six sizes.
The device is intended only for the treatment of the indications listed and for
patients whose measurements correspond to the sizing table.
Mechanism of action
MOBIDERM Intimate mobilizing and compression garments provide:
•
compression around the pelvis and buttocks, to encourage lymphatic
drainage and help maintain or reduce swelling;
• subcutaneous drainage of edematous and indurated areas, by creating a
pressure gradient between the parts of the skin compressed by the foam
blocks of the MOBIDERM genital pad and the surrounding areas, which helps
drain away the excess lymph fluid and reduce swelling.
The garments are designed to be worn day and night.
They provide graduated pressure (between the waist, the hips and the thighs):
•
15–20mmHg around the pelvis
• 5–10mmHg on the abdomen and mid thighs.
Indications
MOBIDERM Intimate mobilizing and compression devices are indicated in the
treatment of pelvic and genital lymphedema.
Instructions for use
•
We recommend washing your new garment before use.
• Always make sure that the product is intact before each use.

•
The genital mobilization pads are reversible.

• The genital mobilization pad should be inserted before putting on the shorts.
•
Turn the shorts inside out and locate the inner pocket over the groin.
❶

Place the genital pad face up with the concave section towards the bottom,
and fold the corners into the middle.
❷
•
Insert the genital pad into the pocket, placing the top in first then sliding the
pad upwards.
❸
•
Unfold and adjust the genital pad, making sure it fits neatly into the pocket.
❹
• Turn the shorts right-side out.
❺
Inserting the female genital mobilization pad:

•
Turn the shorts inside out and locate the inner pocket over the groin.
❶
• Place the genital pad flat with the tab towards the bottom, and fold the wings

in first then sliding the pad down until the tab is sticking out of the other side
of the pocket.

Putting on the shorts:

the tips of the triangle in order to keep it in place.

Avoid tugging on the fabric or waistband more than necessary.
