• To lower the crossbar of the pneumatic BPC hoist, turn the air
switch to DOWN (Figure 3.9).
• To raise and retain the pneumatic BPC hoist, turn the air switch to
UP (Figure 3.9).
Use the following steps to attach the BPC hoist to the BPC.
1. Lower the BPC hoist into the unit so it rests on the BPC. Working
through the door, attach the four hoist clips to the four hanging
tabs on the top of the BPC (Figures 3.10–3.11).
2. Raise the BPC hoist (and the top of the BPC) by pulling down on
the manual BPC hoist handle. Alternatively, for pneumatic hoists,
turn the air switch to UP.
3. Reach underneath the BPC through the door, position the corners
of the BPC into the corners of the container, and smooth away any
large wrinkles so that the base of the BPC will lie flat on the bottom
of the container when filled.
