Using the ACW for Changing PIN
Issue: 1.78
8-4 A Guide to Using DCS4 Access Control Workstation
Thermo Fisher Scientific
If the re-entered new PIN matches the new PIN, the system
shall advise that the PIN number change has been accepted:
If the re-entered PIN does not match the new PIN, the system
will advise that the PIN is incorrect and the process shall be
aborted.
During the Change PIN Process, the ACW will perform certain
checks. Typical checks include worker checks.
If any of these checks are not satisfied then the process will be
aborted and an error message will be displayed
The error message consists of an Error Code Number and some
descriptive text. The System Administrator may change the
text, but the error Code Number will be the same
(see A Guide
to Using DCS4 System Administrator Ref No.
EPD/MHB/61065/000 for further information).
To assist the Health Physicist in identifying the problem, make
a note of the Error Number (in brackets).
