The Worker identifies themselves be entering their Primary ID
(see
Notes regarding Worker Prompt Types (page 4-7)
).
The Worker enters
their Primary ID
according to the
System Setup (see
Notes regarding
Worker ID input).
If the Primary ID is entered through the keypad, the following
screen will appear echoing the characters as they are typed in:
Note: The System Administrator can disable the keypad entry
of the Primary ID.

The System

Hide PIN in the
Configuration

Manager Ref No.

Note that the picture above displays the Worker’s Primary ID.
If the Hide PIN is selected, the Worker’s Primary ID is
displayed as follows:
The EPD is checked after the Primary ID is entered for errors
such as not being issued, issued to another worker etc. An error
message giving details of the fault is displayed as follows:
