12. To remove the deuterium lamp assembly:

a. To disconnect the lamp cable, squeeze the connector latch, and then gently pull the 

connector free from the receptacle on the lamp compartment wall (see 

Figure 76

).

b. Loosen but do not remove the two Phillips head screws by turning them 

approximately four turns.

c.

Lift and gently twist the mounting flange counterclockwise to free the lamp 
(see

Figure 77

).
