Important Information About This Guide
This guide is intended for installers who are aware of the appropriate National, Federal, State, and/or Local regulations
governing the use of refrigerants and certification of technicians. EPA Section 608 is required to work on refrigeration
systems in the United States. It is not intended to be a complete “how-to” authority, or a substitute for sound
engineering and other judgment. Modifications to vehicles to accept Thermo King equipment requires skills and
knowledge not covered in this guide.
If further information is required, Thermo King Corporation Service Department should be consulted at 612-887-2200.
