SECTION 5:
ROBOTIC OPERATION
5.01 Robot Interface INT06
The Robot inte r face INT06 is fo r connection between the Powe r Maste r 400SP/500SP Automation powe r
sou r ces and the r obot cont r ol. The r e a r e diffe r ent analog and digital in-outputs available to allow an individual
adaptation between welding powe r sou r ce and r obot cont r ol.
Configu r ation of the INT06 is possible via:
• The cont r ol panel of the powe r sou r ce
• A PC with CAN inte r face
The INT06 wo r ks as a pa r ticipant of the inte r nal CAN-Bus. Commands coming ove r the INT06 inte r face a r e
conve r ted into CAN-Bus messages and vice ve r sa: actual values and status signals coming f r om the inte r nal
CAN-Bus (e.g. "welding cu rr ent on") a r e put out to the INT06 inte r face.
The INT06 is potentially sepa r ated f r om the machine. The analog and digital inputs a r e not potentially sepa r ated
f r om each othe r .
All inputs and outputs a r e available at the 42-pin Ha r ting socket at the r ea r side of the welding powe r sou r ce.
Additional signals and functions (like gas monito r ing) can be connected optionally.

5.02 Digital Inputs and Outputs
The 18 digital inputs a r e designed fo r a voltage of +24V DC. Fo r some of the digital inputs, LEDs a r e showing
the state of the inputs (see "Ove r view LEDs Robot inte r face INT06" on page 4).
The two digital outputs a r e designed as potential f r ee r elays contact. The powe r r ating of the contacts is max.
