GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 SPECIFICATIONS
The Thermal Arc™ 400 GTSW AC/DC is a three-phase or single-
phase arc welding power source with Constant Current (CC)
output characteristics.
This unit has a built in TIG SLOPER and PULSER and is
equipped with a gas control valve, lift arc starter, and high-
frequency arc starter for use with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
(GTAW). This unit is designed for use with Gas Tungsten Arc
(GTAW), Gas Tungten Arc-Pulsed (GTAW-P), Gas Tungsten Arc-
Sloped (GTAW-S), and Shielded Metal Arc (SMAW) welding
processes.
A digital amperage/voltage meter is standard.
Volt-ampere curves show the voltage and amperage output
capabilities of the welding power source. Curves of other set-
tings will fall between the curves shown.
