Introduction
1.1.
Description of the system
The FLUXMEDICARE® V2 system is a light device intended to be used solely for photodynamic therapy (PDT) for
the treatment of skin lesions.
The FLUXMEDICARE® V2 system is made up of a red light generator - called the light source - and a band of
luminous textile transmitting the light.
The light source and the luminous band are connected.
The light source is connected to the mains electricity supply.
The light emitted has a peak wavelength of 638 nm.
The light dose received by the patient for the 2.5 hours’ treatment is 12
J/cm².
The system is made up of two kits sold separately:

kit
- Ref. LIGHTSOURCE02 - is made up of the 3 following elements:

A light source
o
A harness (HARN2) for attachment to the torso to hold the intermediate unit. This can be sold
separately.
o
A cap (CAP2) which can be sold separately.
