Test Drive Tilt Cutout
74 Press down the foot switch.
75 With the boom fully stowed, drive the machine
onto a slope where the chassis angle is
greater than 4.5° along the Y-Axis (front to
back).
Result: The machine should continue to drive.
76 Return the machine to level ground and
extend the boom approximately 91.4 cm.
77 Drive the machine onto a slope where the
chassis angle is greater than 4.5° along the Y-
Axis (front to back).
Result: The machine should stop once the
machine reaches 4.5° of chassis tilt and the
alarm should sound at the platform controls.
78 Retract the boom to the stowed position or
drive in the opposite direction.
Result: The machine should drive.
79 Return to level ground and raise the boom to
approximately 15° above horizontal.
80 Drive the machine onto a slope where the
chassis angle is greater than 4.5° along the Y-
Axis (front to back).
Result: The machine should stop once the
machine reaches 4.5° of chassis tilt and the
alarm should sound at the platform controls.
81 Lower the boom to the stowed position or drive
in the opposite direction.
Result: The machine should drive.
82 Return to level ground and stow the boom.
83 Press down the foot switch.
84 With the boom fully stowed, drive the machine
onto a slope where the chassis angle is
greater than 3° along the X-Axis (side to side).
Result: The machine should continue to drive.
85 Return the machine to level ground and
extend the boom approximately 91.4 cm.
86 Drive the machine onto a slope where the
chassis angle is greater than 3° along the X-
Axis (side to side).
Result: The machine should stop once the
machine reaches 3° of chassis tilt and the
alarm should sound at the platform controls.
87 Retract the boom to the stowed position or
drive in the opposite direction.
Result: The machine should drive.
88 Return to level ground and raise the boom to
approximately 15° above horizontal.
89 Drive the machine onto a slope where the
chassis angle is greater than 3° along the X-
Axis (side to side).
Result: The machine should stop once the
machine reaches 3° of chassis tilt and the
alarm should sound at the platform controls.
90 Lower the boom to the stowed position or drive
in the opposite direction.
Result: The machine should drive.
91 Return to level ground and stow the boom.
