4. Remove the idler plug assembly from the lift

plate.

5. Remove the four hex screws holding the

bearing retainer to the idler plug. Remove

the retainer.

6. Remove and discard the idler ball bearing

from the idler plug.

7. Position the new ball bearing into the idler

plug.

8. Reinstall the bearing retainer plate on the

idler plug. Reinstall the four screws and

tighten to 8 -- 10 Nm (6 -- 7 ft lb).
