8. Push the bearing housing forward in the
slots. This will remove any excess slack in
the steering chain. Tighten the two hex
screws to 37 -- 48 Nm (26 -- 34 ft lb).
9. Remove the jack stands and lower the
machine to the floor. Operate the machine
and check the steering chain for proper
operation.
