8. Loosen the jam nut on the cable where it

attaches to the handle assembly. Move the

cable out of the slot.

9. Go down to the transaxle and locate the shift

link on the left side of the housing. Pop the

shift cable end off the ball end on the shift

link.

10. Remove the two hex screws holding the shift

cable mount clamp to the machine frame.

11. Remove the shift cable mounting clamp from

the cable.
