4. Spread the left handle leg out far enough to

reinstall it over the end of the left axle shaft.

5. Install the left hand brush arm retaining plate

on the machine. Tighten the hex screws to

7.6 -- 9.9 Nm (6 -- 8 ft lb).

6. Reinstall the hex screw, sheave, and nut

holding the left side of the brush shaft to the

left brush arm.

NOTE: The slot in the brush arm is used to adjust

the taper of the main brush pattern.

7. Reinstall the shift cable on the ball end on

the shift lever.
