Value (in seconds) should be from 0 to 
300. If the value is “0”, then the device 
keeps trying infinitely.

(in order for the change to take effect)

This is a timeout which would send an 
empty packet to the server (if connection 
is established) after the timeout occurs. 
This timeout can also be called as 

keep 

connection alive

 timeout. Many times 

operators drop GPRS connections if a 
traffic is not detected on a particular 
connection, this timeout can help to 
prevent such situation.

Gives an ID for the device. If configured 
this ID will be transmitted along with data 
transferred over GPRS/CSD. The ID will 
be included only in the first packet. Any 
character/string with numeric or 
alphanumeric values.  
This parameter is helpful if you have more 
than one WirelessCom in the field. You 
can enter name of city/address and it will 
be easier for you to recognize from which
