Installing the 8820 MSR into an Enclosed Cabinet
Mount the four brackets that hold the 8820 MSR in an enclosed cabinet and proceed as
follows:
Step 1
If possible remove the side panels from the enclosed cabinet. This will allow side
access when installing the 8820 MSR chassis.
Step 2
Attach mounting brackets to the 8820 MSR (
), as follows:

Four screws for the front left side.

Four screws for the front right side.
❑
Four screws for the back left side.
❑
Four screws for the back right side.

Step 3
Using the assistance of a second person, lift the 8820 MSR into place in the cabinet.
One person must move to the rear side of the rack to balance the Viva5100 while the
other person secures the 8820 MSR to the cabinet.
Step 4
Secure the 8820 MSR to the cabinet (
). Use two screws per bracket.
