3.2 Call Pick-up
3.2.1 Directed Call Pick-Up
Description
A station may answer calls ringing at another station (Call Pick-Up). All ringing calls are subject to
Directed Call Pick-up except Queue Call-backs.
Operation
To Pick-up a call ringing at another station:
LWS-BS station and LWS-WK
1. Lift the handset or press
[Speaker]

3. Dial the ringing sta

Conditions
1. Queue call-back calls are not subject to Call Pick-up; any attempt will receive an error tone.
3.2.2 Group Call Pick-Up
Description
A station can answer (Call Pick-Up) calls ringing at another station. All ringing calls, except Queue Call-
backs, are subject to Pick-up by other stations.
Operation
To Pick-up a call ringing at another station:
LWS-BS station and LWS-WK
1.
Lift the handset or press the
[Speaker]
button.

Dial the Group Call Pick-up code (566).

Conditions
1. Queue call-back calls are not subject to Call Pick-up; any attempt will receive an error tone.
2. When several calls are ringing simultaneously, Call Pick-up will connect the first-in, highest
priority call. Call priority order is: Line transferred call > Line hold-recalled call > Line incoming
call.
