E.2 Connecting the IsoPlane to a Computer
The IsoPlane has been designed to be operated and controlled by a host computer using the
RS-232 or USB interface.
IsoPlane operations which can be controled include:
•
Wavelength scanning at a pre-set linear scan rate;
•
Change of scanning speeds;
•
Grating selection;
•
Rapid GOTO wavelength positioning;
•
Changing of grating turrets;
•
“Jogging” wavelength positioning.
