3. The trays should latch easily. If the trays are not properly aligned, adjust the latch bar as fol-
lows:
NOTE:
Latch bar adjustment may be necessary only during installation of the first module
(with trays) in a quadrant. After the first module with trays is in place, all subsequent modules
installed in that quadrant will align automatically.
a. Make sure all trays are rotated out, away from the latch bar.
b. Loosen the six adjustment screws that hold that latch bar — there are four latch bars, one
per quadrant per Main ADF — to the frame extender. See Figure 37, following.
