Reassemble the oil filter pushing it all the way in
its seat (fig.46 rif.1) and screw back on again.
In all cases in which the filter is damaged, re-
place it with another original. In this case, before
installing the new filter, lubricate the sealing rings
(Fig. 45 ref 1 and ref 2).
9.3.5 Complex maintenances
More complex maintenance operations may
require that the generator be either partially or
fully removed from the case.
Have appropriate equipment on hand
capable of supporting the weight of the gen-
erator when not supported by the case.
Remove the door as detailed in another part of
this manual.
Disconnect the 12 V power supply.
If they are not long enough to slide through the
cable grommet (Fig. 16 ref. 2), disconnect the
electrical output and control cables.
Disconnect the external fuel filter and the fuel
return line (Fig. 14).
Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the internal
muffler (Fig. 12 ref. 3).
Remove the 7 screws indicated in Fig. 49.
At this point the generator can be removed from
the case, running the two fuel lines coming from
within the generator through their respective
grommets (Fig. 14).
Once the maintenance work has been com-
pleted, reinstall the generator taking care at the
same time to pass the two fuel lines through their
respective grommets.
Replace the 7 screws securing the generator to
the case.
Refit the exhaust pipe fitting the correct gasket
between it and the muffler (Fig. 12 ref. 2).
Restore the electrical connections.
