Click the
Restart
button to start the test and verify that you do not
have any errors. Also verify that the DS1 Error and History LEDs
on the front panel are not lit.

Click the
Diagnostics
tab.
5.
Set up the YBT100 to log measurements. (See page 32,
Measurement Logs
.)
6.
Click the
Auto-Test
button.
7.
Click the
Log Alarms/Events
button.
8.
Click the
START TEST
button.
9.
Select the time interval for saving logs and click OK. The YBT100
application does a restart and begins logging events at the speci
fi
ed
interval.
10.
Exit the YBT100 application.
11.
Disconnect the communications link from the YT100 (unplug the
RS-323 cable from the YBT100, or disconnect the 802.11 b/g
wireless communications if necessary).
12.
When you return to the YBT100, look at the front-panel status
LEDs to see if there have been any DS1 events (the History LED is
lit).
13.
Reestablish communications between the laptop or NetTek Y400
and the YBT100 (RS-232 cable or 802.11b/g wireless).
14.
Start up the YBT100 application on the laptop or NetTek Y400.
15.
View the Alarms and Events area to see the current number of
alarm, event, and logic errors.

View the log
