NOTE.
Throughout the rest of the manual, the term YBT100 refers to both
the NetTek YBT100 and the NetTek YBT100DS3 modules. When instructions
or information is speci
fi
c to a particular model, the speci
fi
c model is called
out in the text.
Power
Connecting the AC Adapter.
Do the following to install the AC power
adapter and charge the batteries:
1.
Insert the AC power adapter mini-jack into the instrument. See 1
in the next
fi
gure.
2.
Connect the AC adapter module to an AC power source. The
yellow
Charge
LED on the instrument lights to indicate that the
instrument battery is charging. The LED turns off when the battery
is charged. See 2 and 3 in the next
fi
gure.
3.
Charge the Lithium-Ion battery for eight hours before using the
instrument on battery power for the
fi
rst time. A full charge from a
discharged battery requires approximately six to eight hours.
Powering On and Off the Instrument.
1.
Move the
Power On
switch in the up direction to power on
the YBT100. The green power LED lights to indicate that the
instrument is powered on.
2.
To power off the instrument, move the switch in the down direction.
