Framing: Select the appropriate framing for your network
Zero Coding: Select the appropriate Zero Coding for your
network

Diagnostics
tab and select a BERT pattern to send. (See
page 46,
BERT Patterns
.)

Select the
Logic
check box in the Insert Error area.

Click the
Insert
button to send a logic error. The YBT100 should
not show any errors. This step veri
fi
es that there are no loopbacks
already set up on the network.
7.
Click the
Select Loopback
button and select the loop type that
is appropriate for your testing.
8.
Click the
Loop-Up
button to transmit the loop code and establish
a loop at the remote NIU. When the loop is established, the Loop
Up button label changes to
Active
. If a loop is not established, you
may have a network problem. Verify that you have selected the
correct YBT100 parameters and loopback type.
