Refitting the enclosure lid
Notes
The enclosure must not be left either with the lid not fitted or fitted incorrectly as this will allow
moisture and debris in to the enclosure which could lead to adverse product operation and
potentially catastrophic failure.
This operation must only be carried out in a clean, and dry, environment by suitably trained,
competent, personnel in accordance with the applicable code(s) of practice.

Step 4
Noting orientation,
correctly, and
carefully, align
the lid with the
base then, after
ensuring all cables
are inside and
won't be trapped,
lower the lid on the
base
Step 2
Ensure the lid seal is clean, un-damaged
and is in good condition - clean and / or
replace where necessary. The seal is to
be properly aligned in the lid, such that
the seal 'flats' are aligned with the 'flats'
in the lid recess, and fully seated in the
lid recess
Step 5
Refit the four lid screws and washers
then using a torque driver with the
correct screw driver bit, tighten each
screw, in a diagonally opposite pattern,
to 40(

Step 6
Where applicable apply a new 'tamper-evident'
label (manufacturer p / no. LAB194) in the
location shown
Step 3
Ensure that the
mating faces of
the enclosure
base, where the
gasket fits, are
also clean,
un-damaged and
are in good
condition - clean
where necessary
Step 1
Ensure the lid seal is clean,
un-damaged and is in good
condition - clean and / or
replace where necessary
