Note - where a cable from the Technolog
CBL006 range is attached at this
connector then the terminations are as
above.
Optional open-face sealed, polarised / keyed 12-way 'Mil. Spec. compatible' bayonnet fitting female connector for the
attachment of the following electrical input signal types to each of the 'General Purpose inputs (GPis)':
Digital: Volt-free contacts or logic pulses
Count (pulses counted over, and recorded at, pre-set intervals)
State / Tamper (status and time of state change recorded)
Event (time of pulse recorded)
Frequency (switch closure or logic pulses, maximum frequency = 16kHz, programmable sampling period of 1 to 250
seconds, independent of recording rate)
Analogue:
0 - 2.5Vdc, 10mV or < 1mV resolutions
4 - 20mA, 12V loop power available from 'OP1' and / or 'OP2'
Be aware that the function of each channel, including the outputs 'OP1' and 'OP2' for loop powering, is individually
configurable by means of 'dip switches' on-board the 'Universal add-on' PCB inside the unit - refer to the "Universal eight
channel setting options" section of this document for further details.
Notes
Only applicable where either an internal or externl sensor is not fitted at Port 6 - where it is then one of the 'General
Purpose inputs (GPis)', usually GPi 1, is no longer available as it is used for the pressure channel.
For 'digital' inputs, '0' < 0.5Vdc and '1' > 2Vdc.
For 'analogue' inputs, 'Low' < 0.5Vdc and 'High' > 2Vdc.
All options are dependent on configuration file.
Refer also to the "Standard connections: Channel mapping & channel shadowing" section of this document.
