Regardless of the input connection type, i.e. connector or flying lead, the following electrical input signal types may be
attached to each of the 'General Purpose inputs (GPis)':
Digital: Volt-free contacts or logic pulses
Count (pulses counted over, and recorded at, pre-set intervals)
State / Tamper (status and time of state change recorded)
Event (time of pulse recorded)
Frequency (switch closure or logic pulses, maximum frequency = 16kHz, programmable sampling period of 1 to 250
seconds, independent of recording rate)
Analogue: 0 - 2.5Vdc, 0.01V resolution
Notes
For 'digital' inputs, '0' < 0.5Vdc and '1' > 2Vdc.
For 'analogue' inputs, 'Low' < 0.5Vdc and 'High' > 2Vdc.
All options dependent on configuration file.
