INSTALLING THE VEHICLE RAMPS AND THE WHEEL STOPS
The vehicle ramps (pos.41, fig.56) and the wheel stops (42) can be
fitted on either end of platforms (7 - 8) according to the user’s -
requirements. Fit the ramps (41) by slotting them into the platforms
on the required end and then fix the wheel stops (42) on the opposite
end using M10 x 25 H.H. screws (43), 11 x 30 washers (44)
and M10 nuts (45).

ADJUSTING THE LIFTING CABLES
Lower the platform to the floor. With the park button held on, tighten
the 4 lifting cables until the cross-pieces just start to lift.
Drive a vehicle onto the lift. Raise the lift about 1 m so that the four
wedges (32 in
Fig.57
) are seated in the slots on the safety rods (12).
Check that the distance between the wedges (32) and the slots in
the safety rods (12) is identical on all four posts (1-2-3-4).
If necessary, level the lift by lowering the nuts (20) on the terminal
blocks (19) of the lift cables (33) at the high posts.
When the adjustment is completed, lock the adjustment nuts with
the lock nuts (35).
IMPORTANT: the lift cables must be adjusted again about 1 or
2 weeks after the lift has been commissioned.
Check the gaps between the slack cable sensors and the limit
switch rollers (36 in Fig. 52). It should be 1 to 3 mm. Bend the
lever on the sensor to adjust the gap.
