Procedures to change the spacing
Set-up instructions
To change the spacing choose a clean, flat and firm place.
The planter must be properly hitched to the tractor.
•
Check if the planter is well supported to avoid accidents.
•
The following instructions are necessary only to change the spacings of
any row unit on the planter.
1)
Loosen up the bolts (A) that fasten the row units.
2)
Loosen up the bolts (B) from the sprockets on the hexagonal axle.
3)
Loosen up the bolts (C) from the clamp that holds the fertilizer axle.
4)
Then, remove the bolts (D), flat washers and spring washers that hold the platform
so that the row unit is free to move.
Note that the platform goes with a pre-determined hole, so if it is necessary to displace
the row unit, these holes will lock the row unit in the desired spacing.
