2) Distribution using a intermittent device
(Optional).
The intermittent device allows the strips
distribution to change to a distribution on each
plant. This type of distribution is recommended
for growing orchards that needs fertilizer on their
hole.
On this type of distribution, the calculated
fertilizer per linear meter will be placed at once
on the plant. If there is any plant failure, turn off
the conveyor, otherwise the next plant will receive
doubled fertilizer and this may be harmful.
Example: Orchard that has
3x7 meters of spacing between
plants:
Adjust the metering for
50 grams of fertilizer/meter,
so the intermittent device will
accumulate 50 g of fertilizer for
every meter, thus totalizing 150
grams of fertilizer per plant.
This amount of fertilizer will
be dropped every time that the
directioner tube approaches the
growing plant.
