Adjustments and operations
The distribution can be informed as follows:
1) Grams per linear meter;
2) Gram per plant, or
3) Kilograms per hectare or bushel.
Check how to convert some values in a simplified way:
A)
Kg/ha

Example
: 200 kg/ha with 7 x 5 meter plants.
(200 kg/ha x 7 x 5) / 10 =
700 grams/plant.
B)
Kg/bushel

Example
: 500 Kg/bushel with 7 x 5 meter plants.
(500 Kg/bushel x 7 x 5 ) / 24.2 =
723 grams/plant.
C) Grams/plant

grams/linear meter.
Example:
700 grams/7 x 5 meter plants.
700 grams / 5 meters = 140 grams/linear meter.
Calculations and conversions
NOTE
Since the fertilizer is usually distributed on both sides of the plant, we have the
following: (140 grams / 2)
= 70 grams per linear meter
on each side of the plant.
