Adjustments and operations
The distance between distribution bands must be observed to provide a homogeneous
distribution in the whole area, so that the same amount can be distributed per m² of soil.
In practice, however, a variation of up to 25% in the distribution amount is acceptable and
that occurs especially between distribution bands (overlapping band).
The distance of 07 meters for dry limestone, 09 meters for humid limestone and 10
meters for granulated commercial fertilizer (according to the tables) are a result of several
field trials, on which we obtained a better distribution. We suggest not to increase these
distances to keep a proper overlapping band.
