−
During a thunderstorm, disconnect the device from the mains by pull-
ing the mains plug. You should also do this if you are planning on not
using the device for an extended period of time.
−
When connecting the peripheral devices, make sure that the cables
are long enough so they are not stretched and the connecting plugs
are not subject to mechanical stress.
−
Do not place the device or any furniture or heavy objects on the ca-
bles or connectors and ensure that the cable shielding is not bent, es-
pecially at the plug or the connectors. Never tie a knot in a cable and
do not tie cables together. Ensure that all cables are placed so that no
one can trip over them and they do not cause an obstruction.
•
Open sources of fire, e.g. burning candles, may not be placed on the de-
vice.
•
Do not open your PC! Any hardware modifications and repairs should be
carried out exclusively by qualified specialist, service or maintenance per-
sonnel!
•
PCs use lithium batteries! The exchange of these batteries should only
be carried out by a specialist.
•
Your computer stores all data on data carriers with a magnetic surface.
This is why you should keep the PC away from magnetic and electro-
magnetic fields, e.g. loudspeakers.
•
Only use official BIOS versions that you can find on our service page. Do
not install third-party or modified BIOS versions – this can invalidate your
warranty.
•
Electrical devices do not belong in children's hands! Never allow children
to use electrical devices unsupervised. Children cannot always recognise
possible hazards.
Batteries and small parts may cause choking and can result in death or
serious injury. Keep batteries away from children. If a battery is swal-
lowed, seek medical help immediately. Also keep the packaging material
away from children as this presents a risk of suffocation.
The Wireless LAN stick can become hot during prolonged op-
eration (> 55 °C). Avoid contact with the hot surface, since this
can lead to burns.
