Legal Regulations – Exclusion Clauses
Exclusion clauses for devices with Wireless LAN
The installation and use of a Wireless LAN device may only take place in
accordance with the instructions included in this user documentation.
All changes or modifications made to this device that are not expressly per-
mitted by the manufacturer can invalidate the right of the user to operate this
device. The manufacturer is not liable for interference in the reception of ra-
dio and television signals that is caused by unauthorised changes to the de-
vice or the exchange or use of cables and accessories if these do not corre-
spond to the manufacturer's recommendations. The user is responsible for
the elimination of all faults that result from the mentioned unauthorised
changes or the exchange or use of components. The manufacturer as well
as his authorised specialist and wholesale dealers are not liable for dam-
ages or violations of legal regulations resulting from the violation of these
guidelines.
Energy Consumption
This Targa PC is especially designed to be energy-saving. The power input
indicated on the rating plate refers to the maximum power input when the PC
is fully equipped and the power supply provides the maximum allowable out-
put.
The devices can be separated from the mains for at least four weeks without
their functionality being impaired.
The devices meet the requirement of consuming less than 3 watts in stand-
by mode. Separating the device from the mains (unplugging the device),
prevents energy consumption of any kind by the PC from the mains. The
typical energy consumption of this PC varies depending on technical equip-
ment and type of operation (e.g. accessing devices).
Noise Emission
This PC meets the noise emission requirements corresponding to DIN EN
ISO 7779: 2002-10 with the following values:
