Overview
Remote control via LAN communication or conforming to RS-485 is possible by connecting [LAN] connector
in the rear of the product to LAN port of PC, or connecting [SERIAL I/F] connector to COM port of the
communication terminal of computer, sequencer etc. Furthermore, the remote control of multiple ZX-S
series units by one communication terminal can be realized, if the multi [SERIAL I/F] connectors are
connected. The command format can be selected between two formats, one is the format of IEEE488.2
common command and conforming to SCPI protocol and the other is the format conforming to the command
of TAKASAGO's EX series product.

●Connection to LAN connector
Connect to PC which is used, by UTP cable(cross) of category 3,4,5.
The standard cable length is max. 100m, but please use a short LAN cable as possible, if it is laid in noisy environment.
Caution

●About the data of LAN port
This product uses TCP/IP as LAN protocol. In such network in which many other network devices are connected, the
delay of data transceiving may happen.
Caution

●About the operation at LAN cable disconnection
Please note that, if LAN cable connected to the main unit is disconnected during the remote control, this product retains
the setting status and output status just before LAN cable disconnection.
