Technique Guide

Freehand Distal Locking –
Long Nails (300 mm to 460 mm)

Drill

Tilt the drive until the drill bit is in line with the beam and
appears centered in the outer ring. The drill bit will nearly fill
the locking hole image. Hold the drill bit firmly in this posi-
tion and drill through both cortices.

Measure
