Technique Guide

Distal Locking –
Short Nails (170 mm and 235 mm)

Remove the trocar and drill through both cortices using the
calibrated 4.0 mm three-fluted drill bit.

Read the length of the locking bolt directly from the drill bit
at the back of the drill sleeve. Press the drill sleeve to the
bone to ensure accurate measurement.
