Installing the Hardware

6. If the power connector is equipped with a cigarette adapter (10-48V), plug the 

adapter into the cigarette lighter receptacle. 
If the power connector is equipped with a standard 10-48V wire connect, connect 
the cable directly to a fuse panel.

Note:

This must be performed by a qualified installer.

The cradle’s Communications LED lights for 4 seconds on power up, blinks 7 times, 
then goes out if the cradle passes a self test. 

If the light continues flashing, check the cable connections and ensure they are secure. 
If the problem persists, contact the Symbol Support Center.
