Clean scan window with lens
tissue such as would be used
with eyeglasses. Do NOT use
tissues with lotion!
Scan code not enabled
Check with the programmer to
ensure the scan code is enabled
in the application.
No communication between
PDT 3400 and cradle
IrDA driver not loaded
Ensure the IrDA driver is loaded.
PDT 3400 not seated properly Ensure 3400 is seated firmly in
the cradle cup.
PDT 3400’s IrDA window is
dirty
Clean the IrDA window on the
PDT 3400 and on the CRD/
VCD 34XX with a soft, damp
cloth.
