4.1 Viewing Hardware Alarms
This section describes how to view hardware alarms on the system monitoring interface of the
NetBackup 5000 management software. By viewing current hardware alarms, you can know
whether errors occur on the hardware and timely correct the errors.

Procedure
Step 1
Log in to the system monitoring interface. For the detailed procedure, see 5.1 Logging In to
the System Monitoring Interface .
Step 2
Expand the node in the navigation tree, and then click Hardware Alerts , as shown in Figure
4-1 .
