a) Programming regular user transponders
You can program up to 990 user PIN codes using the keypad. To
do so, assign the ID numbers from 0 to 989.
The length of the user PIN codes can vary from 4 to 6 digits.
Four digits is the minimum length. You can program codes from
0001 to 999999.
The code 1234 cannot be assigned. This code is
reserved for a special function (linking transponders
with user PIN codes).
General information:
• Users can be assigned a specific user ID (a number from
.... to , without “0” at the beginning).
• User transponders can also be added without a user ID.
This speeds up the adding process, but has potential
disadvantages.
• If no specific user ID is provided when adding a transponder,
the code lock will automatically assign the next available user
ID. However, it is not then possible to determine which ID
was assigned.
If you do not assign a specific user ID to a user and
enter it in a list, this can make subsequent programming
more difficult.
If an employee leaves the company or loses a user
transponder, you will not know which user ID to delete,
and the user PIN code or transponder will not be
available for deletion!
