10-minute lock
After ten invalid access attempts have been made with a
transponder or user PIN code, the code lock will be locked for
ten minutes. The LED indicator (2) will flash red. During this time,
access cannot be gained, even with valid transponders or user
PIN codes.
Triggering an alarm
After 10 invalid access attempts have been made via a
transponder or PIN code, the code lock sounds an alarm.
The alarm duration is adjustable (from 1 to 3 minutes, default
setting = 1 minute), as described in section 10 "Programming",
"e) Setting the alarm duration".
The alarm can be terminated prematurely with the valid master
code, a valid user PIN code or by presenting a valid transponder.
The alarm is disabled by default.
To configure the security alarm, proceed as follows:
• The code lock must be in standby mode and the LED
indicator (2) must be red.
• Enable programming mode (see section 10 "Programming",
paragraph "b) Enabling/exiting programming mode") The
LED indicator (2) will then flash red.
Example:
• Press the key. The LED indicator (2) will turn yellow.
• Enter a value for the desired function:
