Open the cover of the AMI transmitter housing.

Install the front end PCB.

Feed the cable of the pH sensor through one of the cable
glands (see
) into the AMI transmitter
housing.

Connect it to the BNC socket.

Feed the cable of the Temperature sensor through one of the
cable glands into the AMI transmitter housing.

Connect the temperature sensor cable to the plug as follows:
Terminal 19: line, Terminal 20: shield.

Close the cover of the AMI transmitter housing.

Carefully pull off the protective cap [F] from the pH sensor [C].

Insert the pH sensor into one of the holes in the constant head
cover [E].

Insert temperature sensor [D] into the small hole.

Remove the connector cap from the connector of the pH sen-
sor. Store cap in safe place.

Screw the connector [B] onto the pH sensor.

Turn on sample flow and wait until flow cell has been filled com-
pletely.

Switch power ON. The instrument automatically detects the
front end PCB during start-up.
