BRAKE LINING WEAR LIMIT

Range Index mark
This vehicle is equipped with brake
wear limit indicators for the front and
rear brake. Check the brake lining
wear as follows:
1. Make sure the brake play is prop-
erly adjusted.
2. While fully applying the brake,
check to see that the extension
line of the index mark is within the
range.
3. If the extension line is outside this
range, have the brake shoes
replaced by your Suzuki dealer.

WARNING
Failure to maintain the brake
shoes and replace them when rec-
ommended can be hazardous.
Riding with worn brake shoes, or
shoes in the front or back that are
unevenly worn, will increase your
chances of having an accident.
If you need to replace brake
shoes, have your Suzuki dealer do
the work. Inspect and maintain the
brake shoes as recommended.
Replace front or rear shoes in
sets.
