2. Loosen the bolt

3. Adjust the slack in the drive chain

by turning the chain adjuster nuts

equally to tighten or slacken the

chain.

4. When proper slack is obtained,

tighten the bolt

Bolt tightening torque

: 120 N·m (12.0 kgf-m, 87.0 lb-ft)

: 94 N·m (9.4 kgf-m, 68.0 lb-ft)

5. Tighten the adjusting nuts

6. Check the brake lever travel as

shown on page 6-24. Adjust the
brake if necessary.


