Mounting a Fan Unit
Caution –
Do not forcibly mount a fan unit in a slot. Forcibly pushing a fan unit in
a slot may damage the fan unit or the server.
1. Adjust the position of the fan unit so that its latch is on the right when you are
facing the front of the server.
2. Insert the fan unit in the slot.

Reassembling the Server
1. Attach the fan cover.

2. Slide the server into the equipment rack and secure the stabilizer bar.

3. From the XSCF shell prompt, use the
showhardconf
command to verify that
the new fan unit has been installed.
