5. Eject the faulty DIMM by pressing down on the ejection levers on both sides of
the DIMM connector (

6. Holding the DIMM by its edges, remove it from the slot and place it on an
antistatic surface.
7. If you are not going to install new DIMMs, replace the DIMM cover and secure it
using the four screws.
